Deze vrouwentorso is gemaakt van Indiaas
Serpentijn. De kleur van de steen is overwegend
terra bruin met enkele witte aders erdoor.
Het beeld is via een RVS pin geplaatst
op een arduin sokkel.
De hoogte inclusief sokkel is 51 cm.

Female torso

This torso is made of Indian Serpentine.

The color of the stone is mostly terra-brown
with some white veins.
The sculpture is attached to a bluestone plinth
by a stainless steel bar.
The height including the plinth is 51 cm.

Gedraaide Torso

Gedraaide Torso

Deze enigszins gedraaide torso is gemaakt van
Indiaas speksteen.
Het geheel is hoogglanzend gepolijst (behalve de
boven- en onderkant; die zijn ruw gelaten).
Het is een groene steen met overal donkere
pukkeltjes.
Het geheel is geplaatst op een arduin sokkel
van 18x18 cm. De totale hoogte is 60 cm.
Dit beeld is niet meer beschikbaar.

Twisted torso

This twisted torso is made of Indian soapstone.
The whole is polished to a high gloss (except the top

and bottom, which are left rough).
It is a green stone with dark inclusions throughout.
It rests on a Bluestone base of 18 x 18 cm.
The total height is 60 cm.
This sculpture is no longer available.

Generalissimo

Dit imposante beeld heeft de uitstraling van een
gezaghebbend figuur, en ik heb het daarom
"Generalissimo" genoemd.
Het is gemaakt van groen Zimbabwaans Serpentijn.
Ik heb op een aantal plaatsen (met name de
achterkant) de steen ruw gelaten.
Daar is de steen mooi roestbruin.
Het is een groot, zwaar beeld, geplaatst op een
arduin sokkel van 25x25 cm, passend op de
bijbehorende console.
De hoogte is 80 cm (inclusief sokkel) en het gewicht
is ongeveer 39 kilo (exclusief arduin sokkel).
Dit beeld is niet te koop.

Generalissimo

This imposing sculpture radiates authority;  

therefore I called it "Generalissimo".
It is made of green Zimbabwean serpentine.
I left the stone rough  on some areas, particularly
on the back. There the stone has a beautiful rust
brown color.
Generalissimo is a large, heavy sculpture,
placed on a bluestone plinth of 25 x 25 cm,
fit onto the stand.  (Not shown in the photo)
The height is 80 cm (including the plinth) and the
weight is about 39 km (excluding bluestone plinth).
This sculpture is not for sale.

Samen uitwaaien

Omdat de steen vrij bont is, zijn er in de figuren
zo weinig mogelijk details aangebracht.
Het materiaal is meerkleurig Zimbabwaans Serpentijn.
Het geheel is geplaatst op een arduin sokkel
van  18x25 cm.
De totale hoogte is 62 cm en de breedte is 38 cm.
Het beeld is niet meer beschikbaar.

Walking in the wind together.

Because the stone itself is quite variegated, there is

minimal detailing of the figures.
The material is multi-coloured Zimbabwean serpentine.
The whole is placed on a bluestone base of 18x25 cm.
The total height is 62 cm and the width is 38 cm.
The sculpture is no longer avaiable.

Tweeling Foetus

Dit beeld is gemaakt van een erg mooi
stuk bruin albast. De splijtvlakken geven
een heel speciaal effect aan het geheel.
Op een paar plaatsen, heb ik het materiaal
zo dun gemaakt, dat het enigszins doorschijnend
geworden is; ook dat geeft een speciaal effect.
Ik zag in de twee achter elkaar gelegen
figuren een dubbele foetus; vandaar deze titel.
De totale hoogte, inclusief arduin sokkel is 52 cm.
Het beeld is niet meer beschikbaar.

Twin Fetus

This sculpture is made from a very nice piece of
brown alabaster. The fault lines provide
a very special effect to the whole.
In some areas,  the material is thin enough to be
somewhat translucent, another special effect.
The two figures, one behind the other,
gave me the impression of a double fetus,
hence the title.
The total height, including bluestone base 
is 52 cm.
